Correlation using SPSS
  1. Open SPSS.
  2. Click on Analyze.
  3. Click on Correlate .
  4. Click on Bivariate.
  5. Highlight the variables of interest and click the (years and speed in this example) and click the arrow to slide them into the 'Variables' box (red arrow).
  6. Click OK .

  7. The output for your Correlation model appears below.
  8. The red arrow highlights the correlation coefficient; the green arrow highlights the p-value.
