Psych 233: PsycInfo Tutorials
Syllabus      Schedule

Kelly Dagan, one of the science librarians in Frost, has graciously agreed to offer two sessions to teach you the ins and outs of using PsycInfo and other research tools available through the library. PsycInfo is a database that will help you locate journal articles for the literature review portion (Introduction/Discussion) of your written assignments. Students who attended the sessions last year found them very helpful. BUT, to make the most of these sessions, it is important that you select the CogLab that will form the basis for your written assignment BEFORE the session. That way, you can spend your time at the session doing work that will directly serve the assignment.

Everyone who attends will receive EXTRA CREDIT towards their class participation grade!!!

Both sessions will take place in the Barker Room (Level A in Frost, next to the main computer lab).

Session 1: Wednesday, February 28th- 4:30-5:30
Session 2: Thursday, March 1st - 6:30-7:30

Please RSVP to Kelly so she knows who to expect. And please thank her at the end of the session, as well! You may also email Kelly to try to arrange an alternate time if you are busy during the above sessions. She will try to accomodate you if she can. Double thank her if she does!
