Baddeley, Thomson, and Buchanan (1975) conducted some experiments with orally presented stimuli and some expeirments with visually presented stimuli? Why? In other words, what added conclusion could be drawn from the experiments using visually presented stimuli that couldn't be drawn from the experiments using orally presented stimuli?
