General Instructions:
This semester, the final project will entail a careful reading of an article from the psychological literature followed by a series of questions requiring you to interpret the statistics presented in the paper. The exam will be taken electronically on Moodle.
- Download the target article by Caluori, Jackson, Gray, and Gelfand (2020).
- Read the article by Caluori, et al. (2020); you probably saw that one coming.
- The exam questions will focus on Experiments 1 and 3, but reading the Introduction and the discussion will probably help you understand the overall article better.
- Once you have read the article, head on over to Moodle to answer the questions. The link is in the block for the last week of the semester.
- You will have two hours to complete the exam, but you really shouldn't need that much time.
- You may look back at the article when answering the questions. You will almost certainly HAVE to consult the article while answering the questions so make sure the article is close at hand.
- Make sure you start the exam at least two hours before the final due date and time: Thursday, December 16th at 8:00 PM.
Independence: You are expected to complete this assignment independently, without help from your peers. However you may ask me for clarification.
Grading: Your grade will be based on the correct report of statistical results and on your ability to effectively and clearly summarize and interpret the findings. |
